How Actheos replaced manual Excel reconciliation with an automated FinanceOps pipeline.

Each month, Actheos had to produce a reconciliation report between its customer master data and bank transactions. The process was handled manually in Excel, with strong dependency on one or two key people.
Genie Factory replaced that workflow with an automated pipeline hosted on its platform, generating the report without manual intervention.
Context
Reconciling banking flows with customer data is a core FinanceOps task, but it rarely creates strategic value. At Actheos, the process had the usual pain points:
- Manual exports from business tools, then rework in Excel
- Reconciliation rules known by people, but not documented
- Operational dependency on key individuals
- Figures sometimes disputed across multiple "versions of truth"
The business impact was immediate: several person-days consumed every month, slower decision-making, and operational risk when key contributors were absent.
