Industrial safety assistant
Field copilot for procedure compliance and incident analysis.
Context
Across multiple production sites, operators had to juggle PDF procedures, paper checklists, and radio exchanges to handle risk situations. Minor incidents and near misses were documented inconsistently, which made root-cause analysis and best-practice sharing across HSE teams difficult.
Approach
We deployed a mobile field assistant connected to the safety documentation repository (instructions, prevention plans, incident history). The assistant guides operators step by step based on machine and environment context, checks compliance on critical actions, and proposes an immediate post-incident analysis framework to improve lessons learned quality.
Results
Incident reporting time was reduced by around 35%, with more complete and better-structured reports. Supervisors now have a consolidated view of weak signals, which accelerated preventive actions and improved procedure rollout across all sites.
